Germany invades France, and Eddy and Dudley find themselves assigned to the same Spitfire squadron in Park’s 11 Group. Dudley’s jabs and jealousies nearly bring them to blows, but the Luftwaffe’s unrelenting attacks force them to put aside petty animosities. They both prove their mettle with aerial combat skills and fate forces them to see each other in a new light. When the Squadron must face a massive German bombing raid on London, can they become fighting brothers for the defence of Britain—and to stay alive?

This second novel from Curtis anchors itself around the early days of World War II, specifically the epoch identified as the ‘Battle of Britain’ (July – October 1940) … the author carves out a creative niche that will enthrall readers.”

Historical Novels Review

“Curtis has proficiently mixed history, suspense, romance, and drama and has given us a war story that’s more than meets the eye….ANGELS and BANDITS is a heart-wrenching, suspenseful, well-written book that will keep you wanting more.”

— Readers’ Favorite

At times, I was reminded of the film Top Gun, and I think this book would make an absolutely wonderful film. I would love to watch it on the big screen. In the meantime, though, I suppose I will have to settle for reading this book over and over, for I missed reading it as soon as I finished.

The Book Bandit

ANGELS and BANDITS is the kind of book that can appeal equally to fans of World War II accounts and women’s romance/fiction. If you happen to like both, you’re really in for a treat.

Ruth F. Stevens, author of Stage Seven

For this reviewer, the characters’ bonds and interaction are one of the strongest and enjoyable parts of the book aside from the action….We should give our thanks to Brodie Curtis for giving us such a fun and suspenseful story that helped us gain more interest towards aviation and World War II history.
